Downtown, North San Angelo, and Fort Concho
While there are some homes in the downtown area, most are in the surrounding subdivisions. To the North is MLS Area L, which includes Green Acres and Lakeview. Here you'll find the the Foster Communications Coliseum, home of the annual stock show and rodeo. Larger lot sizes with fewer neighborhood regulations are available in this area. Homes range from older to affordable new construction.
To the northwest of downtown is Jefferson Heights, Riverpark and Riverview subdivisions (Area F). Very close to San Angelo State Park and OC Fisher lake, this is a well-established, more affordable area of town with a diverse range in home style, size and age from around the 1950s to newer construction. This area is home to the San Angelo Soccer Fields and numerous parks, and is very close to Central High School and downtown.
Homes in the Fort Concho area sit in proximity to our very own National Historic Landmark, Fort Concho, as well as the Farmer's Market, Railway Museum of San Angelo, and Fort Concho Elementary School. This is an affordable area in a central location next to downtown.
